Regretfully we cannot confirm or accept any booking without a completed booking form and deposit but this may also be done by going to our on line booking form, complete this and then phone the park to make your reservation and give your card details.

Terms and
Conditions
1. The Contract
entered into is between Homestead caravan park and the
person completing and signing the booking form (the hirer)
1.1 The contract is not
effective until the required payment has been received and
confirmation sent from the owner to the hirer.
2. Bookings cannot be
accepted from persons under the age of 18 or parties where
the majority of members are under 18 years (except families)
and no single sex parties over two persons.
2.1 The number of persons
occupying the property must not exceed the maximum stated in
the current property description.
2.2 The person who signs the
booking for (the hirer) will be responsible for all persons
included on the form and should ensure that they are aware
of the booking conditions.
2.3 The owner reserves the
right to decline any booking or refuse to hand over a key to
any person who has not complied with the booking conditions.
3. Reservations can
be made provisionally by telephone and must be confirmed
within 7 days of the arrival by a booking form and the
required deposit.
3.1 Provisional reservations
will be cancelled after 7 days without further reference.
3.2 To secure a reservation,
complete all parts of the booking form, send the completed
form together with the deposit or the total cost of the
holiday and pay the balance of the cost six weeks before the
holiday is due to start. Full payment is required with
the booking form if the holiday is due to start within six
weeks of booking.
3.3 If the balance is not
received within the time specified the we reserve the right
to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. (For
confirmation and receipt of balance paid please send a self
addressed stamped envelope for each)
3.4 Payment for overseas
bookings can be made by a cheque drawn on a London bank
payable in sterling to the Homestead Caravan Park or we can send you an invoice by paypal.
4. Cancellation once
a booking is confirmed the hirer is responsible for the
total cost of the holiday
4.1 In the event of a
cancellation by the hirer the Homestead Caravan Park will
endeavour to relet the property and if successful may refund
any monies paid less the deposit which is non refundable.
5. Cancellation Insurance.
The Homestead Caravan Park does not sell cancellation
insurance, we suggest you take out you own insurance cover.
6. Booking Alteration
6.1 Any change in holiday
dates will be subject to agreement of the Homestead Caravan
Park.
6.2 Any alterations to the
booking by the hirer will be subject to an administration
charge of £15.00.
6.3 Any request by the hirer
for transfer of booking to another property will be treated
as cancellation of the original reservation.
6.4 If the owner finds need
to transfer the hirer to another property every effort will
be made to find alternative accommodation of equal of
superior quality or if the owner finds that they can no
longer accommodate the booking all monies shall be returned
in full.
6.5 If the hirer does
not accept the alternative offered the Homestead Caravan
Park will return any monies paid in full. Whereupon
the owners liability will cease.
7. Damage, Loss and
Nuisance
7.1 The hirer agrees:
a: That the
supervision of children, babies and any adults requiring
care remains the responsibility of the hirer at all times
b: To pay for any
damage or loss however caused, excluding reasonable wear and
tear caused during occupation
c: To be responsible for
leaving the accommodation in good order and clean condition,
otherwise a cleaning and/or repair charge will be levied. There is a £30 cleaning/security deposit which is refundable subject to the accomodation being left clean & undamaged.
This is normally returned within two weeks of the accommodation being vacated.
d: Not to cause nuisance or
annoyance to the occupants of nearby property.
e: To allow reasonable
access to the property by the owner or representative
if it is deemed necessary.
F. Smoking is not allowed in the chalets.
7.2 If in the opinion of the
Homestead Caravan Park owners or their representative any
person not suitable to continue their occupation of the
property because of unreasonable behaviour, damage or
nuisance the other parties, the contract may be discharged
and the owner may repossess the property immediately.
The hirer will remain liable for the whole cost of hire and
no refund shall be due.
8. Occupancy shall be
from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of
departure, unless special arrangements have been made (the
housekeepers have only a limited time to prepare this
propery for the next guests, and you are asked to respect
this). Keys are available from the leisure club
between 15:00 and 17:00 (between November and end of March
when the leisure club is closed keys are available from the
office at the same times. If you are going to arrive
at a later time or are delayed we will endeavour to arrange
an alternate collection time. Only persons on the booking form may occupy the chalet. The chalets are not graded four star but are on a four star holiday park which is graded on an annual basis.
9. Services
9.1 The hirer must pay the
Homestead Caravan Park for all electricity and gas consumed
during the occupation before departure, unless supply is
included in the tariff or by coin operated meter.
10 Dogs and Other Pets
are not allowed in the hire property. If the hirer
takes a dog or other pet into the property the Homestead
Caravan Park is entitled to terminate the letting
immediately and the hirer remains liable for the total cost
of the holiday without entitlement to refund. Other
than assistance dogs by arrangement only and in writing.
11. Descriptions
11.1 Whilst the Homestead
Caravan Park makes every effort to ensure the the accuracy
of property descriptions, descriptions are inevitably
subjective and are for guidance only. If there are any
points of particular importance please contact the Homestead
Caravan Park to clarify information.
11.2 Whilst the Homestead
Caravan Park has taken all responsible steps to ensure that
the information contained in its brochures, tariffs,
leaflets and advertisements are accurate the Homestead
Caravan Park reserves the right to alter, substitute or
withdraw any service, facilities or amenity.
12. Liablility
12.1 The Homestead caravan
park cannot accept responsibility for any material loss,
damage, additional expense or inconvenience directly caused
by or arising out of the property and its plumbing, gas,
electricity or otherwise, or exceptional weather.
12.2 No responsibility is
accepted for loss or damage of property (including pets),
vehicles or vehicle contents belonging to the hirer or any
member of the party during their occupancy.
13. Complaints
13.1 If in the opinion of
the hirer there are grounds for complaint, it is the duty of
the hirer to take it up with Homestead Caravan Park
immediately and in any event before departure to allow
remedial action to be taken.
13.2 It is specifically
agreed that the failure by the hirer to notify the Homestead
Caravan Park of any complaint in accordance with the
timescale set out in 13.1 will entitle the Homestead Caravan
Park to refuse to entertain the complaint, irrespective of
its merits.
14. The failure of Homestead
Caravan Park to enforce or exercise, at any time or for any
period of time, and term of, or any right pursuant to this
agreement does not constitute and and not be construed as a
waiver of such term or right.
15. The hirer agrees
that the contract with the Homestead Caravan Park is made at
the owners premises and that any proceedings between the
parties shall be conducted in the county court nearest to
the Homestead Caravan Park.
